artifacted sling apron

[My take on] aprons ... antiquey, artifacted, raw frayed wabi-sabi-soaked, hand-dyed + stitched topographical soul maps of the confluence between form and function. For more on the creation of them see my Studio Notes: artifacted aprons.

This one is sling-shaped and sculpted to hug your carcass, in the best ways only. Equipped with one large and 2 mediumish pockets - scroll down the pics to see some with stuff stuffed in them and you'll see.  Made from chaos-quilted layers of heavy linen and cotton double gauze with cotton on top. 

• actual measurements: main panel is 17 by 18 inches. The strap measured from top to top, as if it was a crossbody bag, is 40 inches, and the entire inner loop of the strap is about 48.
• for comparison — dress form measurements: bust 40 inches, waist 31, hips 41 - Size 14

• fabric: 100% linen, 100% cotton, 100% cotton double gauze, 100% cotton thread, dyed with professional procion dye
• care: hand wash in cold water, dry flat
