burnt umberings: the earthriggings vest. Profoundly sculptural linen vest. The two drawstrings tie together at your shoulder, and there's a variety of options for how you wear them. I have the front panel going all the way up over your shoulder, but also worn down lower in the last photo. The 'collar' shaped changes with every variation. With the other channel that runs up the back - wear it scrunched way up, or let it down, depending on what you're wearing underneath. Or what mood you're in. It's made to be played with.
About this color: I have dyed this garment to a deep saturated shade of burnt umber with black highlights. Burnt umber is both brown and red, each fighting the good fight for your consideration. It is not: rust, burgundy, or maroon, somehow. Trust me, I stared at it for a very long time. It is: super lush ... deep ... earthy ... oxide-infused ... and inherently painterly.
