layering slip/skirt in muted purple with dotted side ruffles

I've made a little cluster of layering slips. Five. I guess maybe they all work as skirts? But I think of them as slips so that's what they are. I picture you using them to stack all kinds of layers up upon yourself, in a way that pleases you.

This one is mildly asymmetric, with a shirred panel of Swiss dot on one side and a few layers of the same on the other. It has exposed serged seams and a narrow elastic waist. Hand dyed in mottled muted purple.

• measurements: waist fits from 30 to 36 inches comfortably, hips are 50 inches, length varies from 24 to 28 inches
• for comparison — this dress form measures: bust 40 inches, waist 31, hips 41
• fabric: woven cotton and cotton swiss dot, hand-dyed with professional lightfast procion dyes
• care: machine wash in cold water, dry on low
