Lifemapping Vest

Lifemapping Vest: a freeform sculpted canvas vest with pleats and flare and some funky hand-stitched detail AND one very large pocket. Mappish blue and green backdrop with deep teal-tipped indigo blue. Lots of raw frayed trim.

Artifacting. That's my term for making a new piece of clothing that appears to be old. Here's what I've written about the process.

particulars:
• rough size: Extra Large, 1X-ish
• actual garment measurements: bust measures 46 inches, length down back is 20, at longest tip it's 29
• for comparison, the dress form measures: bust 40 inches, waist 31, hips 41
• fabric: 100% cotton canvas, cotton jersey trims, dyed with professional lightfast procion dyes
• care: hand wash in cold water, dry flat. I machine washed and dried it after I finished it, so it won't shrink but will fray more if you do the same. I don't exactly recommend that, I'm just letting you know. It depends on your level of adventure.
