sang de dragon: dragon's blood. You probably know dragon's blood as an incense scent. Here it is transformed into candle form. It's a thick, warm, earthy smell.
If you grew up around here you'd think of it as "the smell of Seven Rays bookstore." It may also smell like a bookstore from your hometown, especially if that store also sold tarot decks and crystals and employed fascinating people.
It's got some cedarwood, clove and patchouli action going on but none of those dominates it: it is its own thing, as are most good things.
Secret Lentil Very Good Candles are made from soy wax, with lead-free cotton wicks, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and no dyes. They are a satisfyingly big 8 ounce size (see the photo with my pasty hand for comparison) and come in a lidded aluminum tin. Expect a 55 to 60 hour burn time. They are hand-poured in small batches just for Secret Lentil in Syracuse, New York.
Very Good candles from Secret Lentil. "They're very good."
