It's possibly — probably preferable, to understay your welcome. This is the Understayed Dress. Long, asymmetric, curvy, with overlength scrunchable sleeves and a decorative side-panel flap that ends in a point on your left hip. Exposed serged seams that are part-and-parcel to the sculpting process. I don't think I've ever said or written "part-and-parcel" before and I'm not sure that it's me. But * glances around * it's 4am and no one else is awake so I guess it is, technically, me.

After I made it I garment-dyed this dress in mottled teal. Two bonus pics: this dress in-process vs all done, and also with this draped linen jacket over it.
