FROSTINGVEST. The perfect sweet topping for any outfit. Cropped in back, draping side panels, generously cut armholes, and a simple collar. Made from super butter-soft crinkly double gauze, and uniquely hand-dyed.
ABOUT THE FROSTINGVEST DESIGN: it's a staple, sort of. I don't use a pattern to make these. I make each vest by duplicating a process, so they're the same concept but with inherent size and length variations. So they're not duplicates, they're more like cousins. I take pictures and measurements of the exact one you'll be receiving.
- actual measurements: bust 60 inches measured across the bottom of the generously cut armholes, length of the center back: 14 inches, length at the sides: 26 inches
- for comparison — the dress form measurements are: bust 42 inches, waist 32, hips 44
- fabric: 100% cotton double gauze, with stitch-reinforced raw seams and cotton twill collar detail, dyed with professional procion dye
- care: it's pre-washed and shrunk. Hand wash in cold and dry flat then puff up in dryer, or just dry on low.
