Mumbling Husk in antique ochre (prototype)
The Mumbling Husk is a lightweight shawl-esque double gauze jacket with elbow-length boxy sleeves, a pointy hem in back, and two in front that you can wear dangling down or tie at your waist, plus a twill tie at your neck.
This is the Mumbling Husk prototype. I've got 5 more in the works so there will be more in more colors sometime soon. Yay!
- rough size: OSFH or ... One Size Fits Helen? Will fit XL through 3X
- for comparison — the dress form measurements are: bust 42 inches, waist 32, hips 44
- fabric: 100% cotton double gauze, with stitch-reinforced raw seams and cotton twill collar and tie, dyed with professional procion dye
- care: it's pre-washed and shrunk. Machine wash on gentle, cold, or hand wash in cold and dry flat then puff up in dryer, or just dry on low.
