come on, come on come on (black tunic)

What idiot has 2 thumbs and is currently smitten with sewing elastic casing? Seriously, who gets excited about that? I should seek professional help. But here I am. I have this vision of making a bunch of pieces like this — in a variety of billowy designs shaped by scrunchy elastic, that can be built up in creative layers. They're roughly inspired by some 90's Comme des Garsons work (see the last pic) — not that I'm comparing myself to her. Ha! Nope. So far, I've made one. This is it. 

It has an elasticized head hole and two different-sized arm holes, plus the run of ruching up one shoulder. Cutaway-shaped arched hem. You can play with which side is in front. Deep black.
