You took a bite of your sandwich then curled up for a nap. As you drifted off you wondered if you'd visit a Victorian tea. But you awaken in a field of giant sloths. They'd been waiting for you, and they made you even more sandwiches, out of mosses and mushrooms from the nearby forest. You're not particularly hungry but don't want to be rude, so you nibble a rounded corner and sip your cup of cool spring water.

The Time Traveler Picnic Tunic. Or shirt? Shirtunic. It's textural, it's sculpted to be curvy, it's completely improvised from start to finish. The funky patterned shirring gives it that peplum flare, aka it's also some of what makes it flattering. It has a spiky asymmetric hem, large back collar, raw seams (but stitched to contain fraying) AND overlength stretchy jersey sleeves that can be scrunched up.

Hand dyed in antique teal, a name I made up. It's a custom blend of dyes, which means I also made that up and it won't ever be exactly the same again. Also please enjoy the before and after picture, and if you want, you can read about the whole process of making this right here.
